We are deploying Angular 7 application and .Net core 2.1 (backend) on IIS which is at Azure. Communication between applications must be trough HTTPS. Right now Frontend is deployed at "azureIp:5321" at http, backend at "azureIp:5322" at http. We made frontend visible outside azure and with use of proxy redirect it to https address. We don't want to make backend visible outside azure, but with this approach we cannot make any request to backend, we get 503 http error. It is possible to make them communicate, or only option is make both of them visible outside azure ?
